Passive Mode Selection

This control is part of the Proxy Configuration section of the Settings Window.

If you have configured your system to connect to the internet via a Firewall (even a Transparent Firewall) then it is possible that you need to use Passive Mode (PASV) in order to successfully transfer files.

Using Passive Mode ensures that all connections are initiated by the local host. This avoids the situation where the Firewall rejects incoming connection attempts from the Remote Host.
