Direct Connection

This control is part of the Proxy Configuration section of the Settings Window.

Click on this button if you have a direct connection to the Internet that does not go via either a transparent Proxy or Firewall.

Note: If you are using a transparent Proxy or Firewall, then you should select this option although a Firewall may still need to have Passive Mode set.
