Remote File Window Pop-up File Menu



This is a screen shot of the File Pop-up Menu.




This Pop-up Menu is invoked by right clicking the mouse on a file name, or icon, in the Remote File Window.

Options available from this menu are shown below.

Open.

The selected file will be first copied to the
Local File Window then, if it is a recognised file type, it will be opened.

Download.

The selected file, or group of files, will be sequentially downloaded from the Remote Host.  Files may be individually downloaded by double clicking on the file name in the
Remote File Window.

Cut.

To help prevent accidental loss of files, cut operations are disabled for files on the Remote Host.

Copy.

The selected file, or group of files, will be copied to the Windows Clipboard.


Delete.

The selected file, or group of files, will be deleted and placed in the Windows Recycle Bin.


Rename.

The selected file name will receive input focus.  This allows the file name to be edited.

Changing File Permissions.

Some server types will allow the file permissions, or attributes, to be changed via FTP.  Selecting the File Permissions option this menu will display the
File Permissions Window from which changes may be made.  Note that not all servers support this type of operation.
